2 DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN PRAGUE Arrive in Prague. Meet your Tour Director and then transfer to your hotel in private coach. Check in and enjoy the rest of the day at your own leisure. Meet with your tour director at hotel lobby for tour brief. Dinner and overnight in Prague. DAY 2: PRAGUE SIGHTSEEING After Breakfast meet your English speaking guide and start the sightseeing tour of Prague. First you will visit Prague castle complex, the largest in the world, dating back to the 9th century. It is the office of the President of the Czech Republic. The castle was a seat of power for kings of Bohemia, Holy Roman emperors and presidents of Czechoslovakia. During the visit to the complex, you can visit Old Royal Palace, St. Vitus cathedral, St.George’s Basilica, the Golden Lane, Royal gardens and more. (Visiting hours and permission can change due to COVID-19 related restrictions). Continue your tour through Little Quarter, and stop at the beautiful Wallenstein Garden. After this, enjoy Mala Strana (Little Quarter), a hillside area with views of the old town across the Vltava River. Hotels, casual eateries and traditional pubs line its narrow streets, and visitors scribble messages to the late Beatle on the John Lennon Wall. The riverside Kampa area offers fine dining and exhibits of photos and letters at the Franz Kafka Museum. View the narrowest lane with a traffic light, and then see the funny fountain. Visit the Church of Our Lady Victorious (Baby Jesus). Cross the Vltava River over the famous Charles Bridge. Completed in 1402, pedestrian Charles Bridge is lined with statues of Catholic saints. Stop on the way in the town Písek, a well-preserved, picturesque medieval centre with a number of narrow alleys and a unique atmosphere. Stroll through the city and enjoy a cup of coffee sighting the oldest bridge in Czech Republic the Stone Bridge of Pisek . Continue your way to Cesky Krumlov. The fairy tale town of Cesky Krumlov is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in South Bohemian region and home to one of the largest castle complexes in Central Europe. Explore one of the most beautiful towns of Europe, the magnificent Renaissance castle, its stunning gardens, the church of St. Vitus and its medieval times’ cobbled streets. Check into the hotel. Evening at your own leisure. Dinner and overnight in Cesky Krumlov. DAY 4: ČESKÝ KRUMLOV TO SALZBURG Breakfast at the hotel. Check out. With your tour director drive south towards Austria, cross the border to arrive in the scenic city of Salzburg. Meet your local English speaking guide for a tour of the city. Starting at Palace Mirabell, you will explore the sights here. The palace was built under the reign of the famous baroque prince Archbishop Wolf Dietrich von Reitenau for his mistress Salome Alt and their 15 children.
